The nurses were finally able to get the Activase out of the line which means we can use it safely. We may not be able to get blood out of it but we can infuse through it and that is the most important thing.
Our line surgeon in Columbia is heading out of town for the weekend. Since we got the Activase out and since he can't replace the line this weekend, the plan is to go home today and deal with this later. At this point we would prefer not to do anything until after his birthday, so please pray that nothing else happens which would force the issue!
