We made snow ice cream!
Then we made snow balls!! I gave Noah the option of going out to the snow or having some snow brought in for him to play with. After debating quite a while he decided to have his siblings bring him some snow. BTW, he has on nice warm gloves under those purple ones LOL - we just put those over the knit gloves to keep his hands dry! (Just keepin' it real with Noah's less-than-tidy bookshelf in the background! :-) )
Then we THREW snowballs! Of course, once Noah and Mary Faith had made a huge bowl of snowballs, they needed to throw them. Noah scooted right out the front door to the top of the wheelchair ramp and had a blast throwing snowballs while Mary Faith and some of the others ran around and played. (The older ones had just come in and were warming up while doing a jigsaw puzzle).
Of course, it wasn't ALL fun and games. We had to watch out for wolves - especially Jake, Fierce Wolf of the Southern Tundra!!!!
I hope you're not tooooo terribly scared of this ferocious beast . . . yeah, we weren't scared either. :-)
Poor Jake just doesn't do the whole fierce wolf thing very convincingly. Lucky for us, he does do the whole super-faithful and extra-adorable thing just perfectly!!!
We have lots of fun planned for the rest of the day. Sledding, birthday cake, and plenty of hot chocolate are next on the agenda. :-)
Blessings,
Kate
