Quick prayer request

Super-short update: Yesterday's cardiology appointment was blissfully uneventful with no worsening of his cardiac issues.  Yay! Today at hem/onc we saw that Noah's hemoglobin completely failed to respond to to the venofer, so we will not be able to use it any more.  He was transfused today, and we'll get a CBC to see how he responded to the blood.


Quick prayer request: Tomorrow some members of Noah's hospice team are coming over to work with Jeff and I to help Noah fill out his My Wishes book (see it online here).  We want this to be at least mostly completed before he's admitted for his surgery next week so that members of his health care team can see it and sign it.  This is certain to be very, very emotionally charged.  Some of the questions are, well, heartbreaking from a parent's point of view, but doing this is a very real way to honor Noah and give voice to HIS wishes.  Please pray that he can focus and give heartfelt answers (he's five - he gets super silly sometimes!), that we can best help him express his true wishes, and that I won't do anything to show him my grief.
